Bio:

The car was purchased from Donald A. Schafer of Lafayette, NY in 1977 by my nephew Bill McConnell after graduating High School. The car was then passed to my other nephew Steve Lynch (Captain Steve Lynch one of Syracuse's finest). Then I ended up with it as Steve bought a '68 GTO, a fine example indeed, but that's another story.
Still has the original 350 .30 over w/ TRW pistons, mild cam and Holley 4 Barrel.
The Lemans had original paint until last year when Mark Sears (Auto Body) of Marietta (315) 673-2401 re-painted it and Scott Campion of Ace Trim on State Fair Blvd. did the vinyl top. Paint was a bit weather beat and top was shrinking and had issues, she looks like a million bucks now, color code 53 Quezal Gold. The floor pans and trunk sheet metal was all original and solid, bumpers are original, back one could use re-chrome. The interior ,carpets, seats ect. are orignal to the car, all trim chrome, side moldings, bumpers are original to the car, the only thing I re-placed were the rocker moldings and the Lemans Sport emblem on the front fender.
